This scheme provides facilities for Khadi producing institutions affiliated to KVIC / KVIB to test their products in the testing laboratories of Textiles Committee, statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, having its Regional office at Salt Lake in Kolkata.

| Ready to wear Mission (Collaboration with NIFT) |
NIFT – Kolkata has been assigned Design and Product Development programme for Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, Kolkata. Nevertheless NIFT final year students are working with the Khadi institutions and prototype sample have been developed for the institutions. A fashion show on the developed design had been organized by NIFT at Sonar Bangla Hotel in Kolkata. NIFT has also submitted one proposal under the Mission programme which is under consideration of the Director (KC).
